BPXA has submitted an application for permit to conduct an ocean bottom cable (OBC) seismic survey to acquire high resolution 3D data using an airgun and airgun arrays as the energy source in the Beaufort Sea Outer Continental Shelf Planning Area, Alaska from July 1, 2013, to September 30, 2013. - January 2-7, 2013: BPXA submits to BOEM's Alaska Region a G&G permit application for pre-lease exploration activity. The proposed survey is designated OCS Permit 13-01. Review of proposed application begins including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review.
