Central and Western Gulf of Mexico OCS

The Indicated Hydrocarbon List (IHL) is available from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), Office of Resource Evaluation. The IHL identifies unleased Central and Western Planning Area Gulf of Mexico tracts that have wellbores with indicated hydrocarbons. The IHL will be made available to the public approximately three months prior to each Gulf of Mexico sale.
IHL data are made available in several formats including: MS Access, GeoPDF, and ESRI ArcGIS shapefiles. The IHL data and associated files can be found at:
