The Large Submarine Canyons atlas is a depository of maps and information about the major submarine canyons of the OCS. The Atlas provides BOEM with geospatial and resource information to assist in the preparation of environmental documents. The submarine canyons were inventoried and delineated using a methodology consistent with terrestrial watershed mapping.
