Meeting scheduled in Houston
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) invites the public to comment on the Gulf of Mexico OCS Lease Sale: Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement 2018 (2018 GOM Draft Supplemental EIS) on proposed Lease Sales 250 and 251, as scheduled in the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing: Proposed Final Program (Five-Year Program).
The Draft SEIS was published in the Federal Register on March 31, 2017. BOEM will hold a public meeting in an open-house format to answer questions and gather comments. The public may attend any time between 4:00 p.m. CST and 7:00 p.m. CST, as follows:
- Houston, Texas: Thursday, April 27, 2017, Houston Marriot North, 255 North Sam Houston Pkwy East, Houston, Texas, 77060;
Comments received in person and online will help BOEM and the cooperating agencies further refine the analysis of the draft SEIS for publication of the Final SEIS. Comments will be accepted until May 15, 2017.
