In response to requests from industry members, the Bureau of Ocean Energy (BOEM) is extending the time for stakeholder review of the proposed criteria for determining a company’s financial ability to carry out obligations by an additional two weeks. The proposed guidance is available on BOEM’s website at: www.boem.gov/Risk-Management/. The review period will end on Monday, November 23, 2015. During this time, we encourage any feedback to be sent to Risk.Management@boem.gov.
BOEM values its on-going dialog with industry and encourages stakeholders to reach out to us with questions or concerns. BOEM has met with numerous companies both in groups and individually since the October 9 industry forum in Houston to review specific information. BOEM strongly encourages all companies to contact the Risk Management Program directly to discuss individual needs and concerns.
