As many of you are aware, meetings scheduled for January 22-25 in support of the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program (National OCS Program) were postponed due to the Federal government shutdown. In addition, the meeting scheduled for Richmond, VA on January 17 was postponed due to inclement weather.
The meetings have been rescheduled, and new dates can be found on our website at: https://www.boem.gov/National-Program-Participate/.
Background
On January 4, 2018, the Department of Interior announced publication of the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Draft Proposed Program, as well as a Notice of Intent to develop a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement.
In order to obtain public input on these two documents, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) scheduled a series of public meetings.
The entire list of public meetings and the virtual meeting room are available at https://www.boem.gov/National-Program/.
