BOEM’s regulations, as outlined in 30 CFR § 550.125 and 30 CFR § 556.106, provide the authority for BOEM to periodically adjust certain fees for services.
BOEM is adjusting its service fees to reflect inflation since 2013.
BOEM is implementing these new inflation adjustments by final rule so that the cost recovery fees are readily accessible by affected companies.
The new schedule goes into effect on November 1, 2022, and can be found below.
