The Ocean Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is soliciting nominations for individuals to serve the Atlantic Offshore Renewable Energy Development and Fisheries Steering Committee. This steering committee will organize a workshop to survey the range of issues regarding renewable energy activities on the Atlantic outer continental shelf and potential impacts on fisheries. Approximately 8-10 experts from scientific disciplines relevant to the Statement of Task will be appointed to the committee. The committee will include members with expertise in the North and Mid-Atlantic, and with experience in fisheries concerns related to European installation of offshore renewable energy platforms.
