New Jersey Offshore Wind Auction On November 9, 2015

On September 23, 2015, the Department of Interior (DOI) issued a press release to announce our nation's fifth offshore wind auction. To access the press release, visit www.doi.gov.

The auction will commence on November 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. It will offer about 344,000 acres offshore New Jersey for commercial wind energy leasing.

To check the status of the auction, go to http://www.boem.gov/New-Jersey/. The website will be updated throughout the day until the provisional winners have been identified.

Once the provisional winners have been identified, an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
