OCS Science Advisory Committee Meeting

We want to make sure you are aware of the Federal Register notice of the upcoming Outer Continental Shelf Scientific Committee (OCS SC) meeting scheduled for May 14-16, 2013 in New Orleans.

The committee provides advice on the feasibility, appropriateness, and scientific value of the OCS Environmental Studies Program to the Secretary of the Interior through the Director of BOEM. Committee members will review the relevance of the research and data being produced to meet BOEM's scientific information needs for decision making and may recommend changes in scope, direction, and emphasis.
