The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is excited to be an official partner of the third USA Science and Engineering Festival, taking place Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The hours are from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public. It is accessible from Metro's Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center Station on the Green and Yellow lines.
Students, parents, teachers and others are invited to stop by the BOEM booth, #3537, in the Earth Sciences Pavilion to learn how we are working to Power Your Future with Ocean Energy.
We will have fun hands-on activities related to environmental science, geology and offshore oil and gas resources, and offshore renewable energy. Then, explore the rest of the expo with entertainment stages and hundreds of exhibits and activities for all ages.
The USA Science & Engineering Festival is a national grassroots effort to advance STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Bring your children, other family members, friends, or just yourself, but come and meet the who’s who in science and engineering!
