On March 20 and 21, 2023, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine will host the 22nd Committee on Offshore Science and Assessment (COSA) meeting to provide updates on BOEM’s scientific studies and environmental assessment programs. Scientists from BOEM’s Center for Marine Acoustics – along with NOAA scientists – will discuss efforts aimed at reducing potential impacts from offshore wind development.
