Recently, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) invited you to attend one of four open houses intended to share the results of a recently completed visualization study in support of our renewable energy planning efforts in Federal waters on the Outer Continental Shelf offshore New York.
The BOEM meetings will not be held as originally planned. In response to concerns raised by the State of New York, and because of the importance of this issue, we want to allow for additional coordination between the state and the federal government. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause you.
We will keep you informed of future public meetings and there will be additional opportunities for you to provide input with regard to our renewable energy planning efforts offshore New York.
